Cooking for One (or Two) Without Eating the Same Thing All Week

Cooking for One (or Two) Without Eating the Same Thing All Week

Cooking for a smaller household doesn't have to mean eating the same leftovers every night!

This was the second session in The Ages of Us Good Food, Less Work Community Conversations series.

We explored practical ways to make everyday cooking easier, more flexible, and less repetitive.

We talked about:

  • Using one ingredient to create several different meals

  • Cooking once and enjoying meals on other days

  • Freezing individual portions for future meals

  • Keeping convenient ingredients on hand

  • Mixing and matching ingredients for variety

  • Reducing food waste while saving time and effort
