Making new friends later in life isn't always easy, but meaningful connections can begin with a simple conversation.
Finding Our People is a community connection program from The Ages of Us that brings women 50+ together in small friendship circles.
Each circle includes five or six women who meet monthly for lunch, share experiences, enjoy conversation, and have the opportunity to build lasting friendships.
Whether you're new to the area, experiencing a life transition, or simply hoping to expand your circle of friends, Finding Our People offers a welcoming place to connect.
Finding Our People currently organizes friendship circles that meet in King County, Washington. Women 50+ are welcome to participate regardless of where they live, as long as they're willing to travel to their monthly gatherings.
How Finding Our People Works
Small Friendship Circles
Each circle brings together five or six women who are interested in developing meaningful friendships.
Monthly Lunch Gatherings
Circles meet once a month at a restaurant, providing a relaxed setting to get acquainted and enjoy conversation. Each participant pays for her own meal.
Thoughtful Matching
We'll use your interests, preferences, and availability to help place you in a compatible circle.
Conversations That Connect
During the first six months, optional conversation prompts will help everyone get to know one another beyond the usual small talk.
Time to Build Friendships
We encourage an initial three-month commitment to give relationships time to develop. Each circle can continue meeting as friendships grow.

Our first Finding Our People friendship circles are planned to begin in February 2027.
